Ann Patricia Norah Mühlebach, 83, of Chilliwack, passed away on May 11, 2024, after a brief battle against cancer.

Ann was born on May 18, 1940, to Albert and Doris Welham in London, United Kingdom.

Ann became a registered nurse in England. During her studies at the Vorbeck School in Gengenbach (Germany), she met Walter, who she married in 1965. After becoming the mother of three children, she worked as an English teacher.

In 1983, Ann and her family emigrated to Canada, where she kept working as an ESL-teacher at Chilliwack Community Services and later at Kwantlen University.

Ann also graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Master of Arts in 2001. She kept tutoring students into her 70s. Also, she stayed engaged in the community. In recognition, Ann received a Commemorative Medal for the 125th Anniversary of Confederation from the Governor General of Canada.

Ann is survived by her husband Walter, her daughter Patricia, her sons Daniel, and Robin. She is also leaving behind her sisters Francis und Elizabeth as well as her brother Peter. Ann also will be dearly missed by her granddaughters Ashlyn and Lauren.
