Chilliwack Restorative Justice is stepping back to the 1990s for its next fundraiser.
Fittingly named Be Kind, Please Rewind (Back to the ’90s), the event takes place on April 6 at Bridlewoods Event Centre.
“Dust off those scrunchies, polish those Doc Martens, and join us for a night of nostalgic fun and philanthropy,” reads the event description.
Chilliwack Restorative Justice is marking 25 years in the community. The organization seeks to repair the harm done by crime and violence in the community and in Chilliwack schools. They offer programs and guidance outside the traditional court system to young offenders to repair and prevent harm and conflict by taking accountability for their actions. This is done through reconciliation with victims and the community.
On April 6, guests are invited to step into a world of excitement and nostalgia at the ’90s-themed fundraiser.
The event includes a gourmet meal and dessert prepared by the chefs at PalaTable catering, a complimentary glass of mimosa or champagne, and live music by Jana Seale who will be playing iconic tunes of the ’90s.
There will also be ’90s trivia games, a silent auction, 50/50 draw, and prizes for the best dressed.
