Shelter animals in Chilliwack awaiting their forever homes are eager to meet visitors tomorrow.

The BC SPCA Chilliwack is hosting an open house on Saturday, April 27, which just happens to be National Adopt-A-Shelter-Pet Day.

It’s a chance to find out more about the animals in their care, tour the centre, and find out more about helping animals in need.

“This special occasion is dedicated to shining a light on the beautiful animals in search of their forever homes.”

There will be pet-related items, and baked items for purchase by donation during the open house.

“We look forward to seeing you there!” said the organizers in a post.

Take a sneak peak of their adoptable animals at https://bit.ly/3UBvPSt and meet and interact with some of them at the Saturday event.

To help celebrate the day, BC SPCA is offering 50 per cent off all adoption fees from Thursday, April 25 through Sunday, May 5 at all locations, sponsored by Hill’s Pet Nutrition. Open House, April 27, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m at 6797 Hopedale Road.
